Becoming an Advanced Life Support Provider in Tidewater
The ALS Regional Sanctioning process is managed by the Regional EMS Education Coordinator. This page will provide information relating to the ALS Sanctioning Policies and Procedures, skills testing, written testing, and the oral board interview. While affiliation with an EMS agency is not required to begin the sanctioning process, providers must be affiliated with an EMS agency to complete the process and to become regionally sanctioned.
