March RSAF Grant Cycle (Feb 1- March 15, 2010) - The Financial Assistance for Emergency Medical Services Grants Program, known as the Rescue Squad Assistance Fund (RSAF) Grant Program is a multi-million dollar grant program for Virginia non-profit EMS agencies and organizations. Items eligible for funding include EMS equipment and vehicles, computers, EMS management programs, courses/classes and projects benefiting the recruitment and retention of EMS members.

The application deadline for this cycle of the Financial Assistance for Emergency Medical Services Grants Program is March 15, 2010. The current electronic application package (CGAP) will soon available on the Grants section of the Virginia Office of EMS website (http://www.vdh.virginia.gov/OEMS/Grants/index.htm)

Important Information to Note:

• APPLICATION DEADLINE March 15, 2010 No later than 5:00 p.m.
• All Grant Applications MUST be submitted via the Internet.
• The Affirmation page is due by March 15, 2010 with original signatures.
• Effective January 1, 2009 quotes will be required for all items not listed on the Commonwealth of Virginia procurement website for a state contract www.eva.virginia.gov.
• OEMS is piloting a new Grant Review Sheet during this Grant Cycle (March 2010) please review.
