Scott Wiebe is a Captain and EMS Shift Supervisor for Lincoln Fire& Rescue in Lincoln, Nebraska. He graduated from the Creighton University Paramedic Program in 1990. Scott is Board Certified as a Flight Paramedic and holds a Critical Care endorsement from the University of Maryland. Scott has extensive prehospital experience including ground, rotor and fixed wing transport as well as working as a staff paramedic in a Level I Trauma Center. In addition to his role at Lincoln Fire & Rescue, Scott is a Medical Specialist for Nebraska Task Force 1 FEMA Urban Search & Rescue Team. His primary professional interests are evidenced based cardiac arrest resuscitation and post event analysis as well as prehospital airway management. Scott is past member of the Nebraska Board of EMS and has written numerous expert opinions on airway management.
