Pediatric Emergency Assessment- the ABC’s, PAT, and CABs of it all!

This presentation will assist front line  healthcare providers in developing a rapid systematic approach to pediatric  assessment. It will also empower the health care providers to make a rapid  determination of which primary hands-on assessment is most appropriate for  the situation. We will explore the Pediatric Assessment Triangle (PATs),  ABCs, and CABs as tools in pediatric assessment. Pediatric Emergency  Assessment is the foundation of most of the classes listed below as keen  assessment skills are the basics to all patient care.
