The Room Where It Happens: How to Stand in Front of Other People and Inspire Them

You have probably sat  in a room at some point and been truly inspired by the person speaking, and  you have also probably wanted to get up and walk out of the room because the  speaker was so bad! But what is the difference, and can you learn how to be  the inspiring speaker? How do you get to be in the room where it  happens?    This class will review real-world tools for speakers in all areas to  develop their content and materials, to go through the process of owning the  room, and how to deliver content that will inspire people. How to you format  materials so they are usable to the audience? How do you effectively (and  legally) use videos? Or audience polling? What should you to on the day of  your presentation? How do you handle people who want to disrupt you? We will  cover all of these topics and more, and for each one, we will be using  popular music songs to illustrate and remember the lessons!
