Overview

Accurately  identifying cardiac rhythms that are pathologic and life threatening,  expected    physiologic responses or reactions, versus normal, at times can be  challenging to even    the most experienced provider. A simple practical approach using  fundamental concepts    when confronted with rhythms that may depend on immediate actions, which  may even    include no action to prevent harmful exacerbations can make an immediate  difference.    This fundamental approach will assist the provider with tools to identify,  recognize, and    subsequently manage these routine as well as challenging rhythms.
