Michael Owens

Dr. Owens is an Emergency Physician at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Director of the Navy’s Global Health Fellowship, and an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University and Eastern Virginia Medical School. He received his medical degree from the Ohio University, Masters in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, and completed his Emergency Medicine residency as Chief Resident at Michigan State University. Additional certifications include Certified Emergency Manager from the International Association of Emergency Managers.
