Building a Rural EMS Community Paramedicine Program

CommunityParamedicine is up and coming in the growing world of EMS. It has the potentialto tap into undiscovered needs, to improve the health of a community, todecrease stress on the 911 system, and to make a difference in so many lives. 

This session will explore thedevelopment of our Community Paramedic (CP) program in rural central Virginiaand the key insights gained during its implementation. We will highlight thecritical role of community collaboration and our shift toward a more authentic,community-centered approach to care for our clients.
