Adrian Proumen

Adrian Proumen, DO, LCDR, MC, USN is a staff anesthesiologist and Division Officer for Trauma Anesthesia at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, where he also serves as Program Director for the anesthesiology residency. With a background in firefighting and pre-hospital ALS leadership, Dr. Proumen brings over 15 years of frontline EMS and critical care experience. He is a prehospital physician with VBEMS, a member of NATO’s endovascular hemorrhage task force, and an active educator in trauma resuscitation, advanced airway management, and austere medicine.
