Christopher Holstege

Christopher P. Holstege, M.D. is a University of Virginia Professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics within the School of Medicine, Chief of the Division of Medical Toxicology, and Director of UVA Health’s Blue Ridge Poison Center. Dr. Holstege clinically provides care for poisoned patients at UVA Health and has practiced emergency medicine for over 30 years. He has numerous ongoing research projects in clinical, basic science, and epidemiologic arenas. Dr. Holstege has over 300 publications in various medical journals, periodicals, and books.
