Kenneth Sweitzer, Jr.

Kenny Sweitzer Jr. is a Lieutenant with Clearwater Fire & Rescue and a Critical Care Flight Paramedic with Aeromed, Tampa General Hospital’s air medical program. With over a decade of frontline 911 and critical care experience, Kenny has developed specialized expertise in prehospital resuscitation, advanced airway management, and trauma care. He has served as an EMS instructor, competition team leader, and adjunct fire academy faculty, helping train the next generation of EMTs and paramedics. Recognized as Clearwater’s 2020 Paramedic and Firefighter of the Year, Kenny continues to bridge the gap between clinical evidence and field application. His current focus is reshaping how EMS providers approach traumatic cardiac arrest—emphasizing evidence-based interventions that prioritize reversible causes over traditional CPR.
