Scott Wiebe
Scott Wiebe is a Captain and EMS Shift Supervisor for Lincoln Fire & Rescue in Lincoln, Nebraska. He graduated from the Creighton University Paramedic Program in 1990. Scott is Board-Certified as a Flight Paramedic and holds a Critical Care endorsement from the University of Maryland. Scott has extensive prehospital experience including ground, rotor, and fixed-wing transport, as well as working as a staff paramedic in a Level I Trauma Center. In addition to his role at Lincoln Fire & Rescue, Scott is a Medical Specialist for Nebraska Task Force 1 FEMA Urban Search & Rescue Team. His primary professional interests are evidence-based cardiac arrest resuscitation and post-event analysis, as well as prehospital airway management. Scott is a past member of the Nebraska Board of EMS and has written numerous expert opinions on airway management.
