Congratulations to Captains Christie Cherry and Captain Jason Jones for successful completion of the Region 7 EMS Council Ultrasound Course! Both are now released to make clinical decisions based on Ultrasound findings during patient care. On July 1st, both Captains sat for their Ultrasound Boards with VBEMS Operational Medical Director Dr. Stewart Martin, Region 7 EMS Council Representative Valerie Vagts, and VBEMS Battalion Chief Elizabeth Beatty. Both Captain Cherry and Captain Jones have demonstrated POCUS practical skills and application of EMS ultrasound technology in patient care. Job Well done!
